General Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels, monitor performance, and scout new stores that exemplify J.Riley brand values.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Build relationships with buyers, stores, press, suppliers & distributors in order to maximize sales and meet monthly and yearly goals
  • Attend trade shows
  • Help in planning product ranges
  • Prepare look books before each selling season
  • Prepare stock plans in conjunction with buyers
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of data
  • Produce layout plans for stores (store displays)
  • Analyze every aspect of ‘bestsellers’ +- ( price points, colors, styles, sizes, etc.)
  • Monitor slow sellers and taking action for those products to reach full potential within stores
  • Travel to store locations to maintain displays and scout new stores
  • Manage, train and supervise junior staff

Requirements:

  • Enjoy traveling and can successfully relay brand message in stores
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Ability in sales and data analytics 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passion for fashion
  • In depth knowledge of the fashion industry
  • Skill of Adobe Illustrator CC/CS6 + Photoshop CC/CS6 a bonus
